At TK Handyman Services, we value your time and ours. We dedicate specific time slots, travel, and preparation to each booked service. To help us maintain a reliable schedule and serve all our clients effectively, we have established the following cancellation and rescheduling policy for appointments booked online or otherwise.
1. Notice Requirements
- You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at no charge if you provide at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled start time.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of $50 or 50% of the estimated service cost, whichever is greater.
- No-shows (failing to be present or provide access at the scheduled time without prior notice) will be charged the full estimated cost of the service or a $100 no-show fee, plus any applicable travel or preparation costs.
For longer or more complex jobs (e.g., those requiring materials or multiple hours), we may require a non-refundable deposit. In such cases, cancellations within 24 hours may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
2. How to Cancel or Reschedule
Since we offer online booking for select services, you can manage many appointments directly through our booking system:

We encourage using the online portal when possible, as it provides instant confirmation and helps us quickly offer the slot to another client.
Please include your name, service type, and original appointment date/time in any cancellation request.
3. Refunds and Payments
- If you cancel with sufficient notice (24+ hours), any prepaid amounts (minus any deposit if applicable) will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Cancellation fees or no-show charges will be billed to the card or payment method on file.
- We do not issue refunds for completed services or materials already purchased for your job.
4. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of severe weather, illness, or other unforeseen events, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to waive fees or reschedule without penalty on a case-by-case basis.
If we (TK Handyman Services) need to cancel or reschedule due to scheduling conflicts, illness, or other reasons, we will notify you immediately and offer a comparable time slot at no additional cost. No cancellation fee will apply in such cases.
5. Acknowledgment
By booking an appointment through our website, online system, phone, or any other method, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
We reserve the right to update this policy and will notify existing clients of material changes. Continued use of our booking services constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
