TK Handyman Services

Welcome to TK Handyman Services. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website (https://www.tkhandymanservices.com or any associated domains), online booking system, payment portal, and related services (collectively, the “Site” or “Services”).

By accessing or using our Site, creating an account, making a booking, saving payment or billing information, or submitting any information, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Our Services
TK Handyman Services provides handyman and home repair services. Through the Site, you can:

  • Browse our services

  • Create a user account

  • Book appointments online

  • Store basic contact, service, payment, and billing information

  • Pay for services online

  • Save payment methods and billing details for future use

We may perform the requested work directly or through qualified partner subcontractors. All services are coordinated and managed by TK Handyman Services. Our partner subcontractors are carefully selected, licensed (where required), and insured. You authorize us to engage suitable subcontractors as needed to complete your job.
All actual handyman work is performed by TK Handyman Services personnel or our approved partner subcontractors.

2. User Accounts
To use certain features (such as online booking, saving information, and making payments), you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

  • Maintain and promptly update your account information

  • Keep your password confidential and secure

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect a violation of these Terms.

3. Online Booking and Payments

  • All bookings and payments are subject to availability and confirmation by TK Handyman Services.

  • You may pay for services online through our secure payment processor.

  • You can choose to save your payment method(s) and billing information to your account for faster future transactions.

  • By saving a payment method, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to store and use that information for future charges related to your bookings or services.

  • All payments are processed securely through a third-party payment gateway. We do not directly store full payment card details on our servers.

4. Saved Payment and Billing Information
When you save payment or billing information:

  • You represent that you are the authorized user of the payment method and that the billing information is accurate.

  • You consent to us storing your billing address, name, and payment method token (via our payment processor) for future use.

  • You may remove saved payment methods from your account at any time.

  • We will only charge the saved payment method for services you have explicitly booked or approved.

  • Any recurring or future charges will be clearly disclosed before processing.

  • Refunds, cancellations, and charge disputes are subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy (available on the booking page or upon request). Chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and/or collection actions.

5. Pricing and Estimates

  • Prices shown on the Site are estimates only. Final pricing may vary based on the actual scope of work, materials, travel time, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • The final amount charged will be the amount agreed upon in the service confirmation or work order.

  • You will receive a receipt or invoice for all online payments.

6. Subcontractors
Some jobs or portions of jobs may be performed by our partner subcontractors. By booking with us, you:

  • Authorize TK Handyman Services to assign qualified subcontractors to perform all or part of the work.

  • Agree that our subcontractors will be bound by the same quality and safety standards we maintain.

  • Understand that you will primarily communicate and coordinate through TK Handyman Services, not directly with subcontractors unless we instruct otherwise.

  • Acknowledge that TK Handyman Services remains responsible for overall project management and customer satisfaction.

  • We will notify you in advance when subcontractors will be used, whenever reasonably possible.

7. User Conduct
You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or for fraudulent transactions

  • Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information, including payment or billing details

  • Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or payment systems

  • Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Site without permission

  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others through the Site

8. Privacy and Data Storage
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including payment and billing data.
By using the Site, you consent to our collection and storage of:

  • Name, email, phone number, and service address

  • Job descriptions and preferences

  • Booking history

  • Billing information

  • Payment method tokens (handled securely by our payment processor)

We use this information to process bookings, payments, provide services (including through subcontractors), and improve your experience. You may update or request deletion of your data subject to our legal obligations and payment processor policies.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, logos, images, booking system interface, and trademarks, is the property of TK Handyman Services or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

  • We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

  • We are not responsible for any damages arising from your use of the Site or payment features, except as required by law.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if no payment was made).

Payment-related issues (declined cards, chargebacks, etc.) are subject to the policies of our third-party payment processor in addition to these Terms.

11. Service-Related Disclaimers
While we strive to provide high-quality handyman services:

  • All work is subject to our separate Service Agreement / Work Order that will be provided at the time of service.

  • Estimates are not guaranteed; final costs may differ.

  • We (and our subcontractors) are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage, or issues beyond the agreed scope of work.

  • TK Handyman Services remains the primary point of contact and bears overall responsibility for the services provided, including work performed by subcontractors.

12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site (including your ability to save payment methods) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or suspected fraudulent activity.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on the Site with an updated “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of [Insert Your State], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in [Insert County/City], [State].
